ENTERTAINMENT HISTORY
ANA BARBARA
Wanting to bring the finest
experience to their guests,
Arnold decided to add
entertainment.  From the
swinging Big Band greats to
the fun of the Perda Salty
Dogs Jazz Band, the Sabre
Room was the "in" spot!
Always the entrepreneur,
Arnold could now bring even
more renowned entertainers to
this beautiful location.  Jazz
greats from Count Basie, Buddy
Rich and Duke Ellington;
Comedians such as Bill Cosby
and George Burns; Vocalists
from Natalie Cole, Roberta
Flack, Dean Martin and the
finest entertainers of the
Century have been an
important part of the Sabre
Room's history.  Frank Sinatra
not only performed on the main
stage, but he got engaged at
the Sabre Room.

The Sabre Room is a unique
venue where anything could
and did happen.  The band
Styx played here for a prom,
Michael Flatley danced at his
sister's wedding, rock stars
were married on the grounds,
political figures from
Presidents, Governors and
Mayors have enjoyed the
ambiance and first and
foremost Arnold's true love,
the people of the Chicago
Area have long been a part of
his and Marie's Sabre Room
Dream.
